Friday breast exam awareness- link up

It has been amazing and inspiring to see the Twitterverse turn pink this week in support of breast exam awareness.
So many people have written their stories, the stories of their friends and families.
If you have a story, I'd be honoured for you to link it here so people can visit you.
For those of you visiting, I urge you to visit these blogs and comment and encourage the people who have taken the time to write their stories.
And thank you again.

Great stuff, hon. You and Carol have started a great thing today. Here's hoping it takes off and we kick cancer in the arse!

Just a reminder that young women can get breast cancer too. Don't let anyone blow you off and say "you're too young to get breast cancer" it's the leading cause of cancer death for women aged 15 to 45. girls should start feeling them up at their first menstruation

My Mum had double mastectomies, radiation ... the works. It sucks. I'm giving you a huge thumbs up for your promotion. Check, check and CHECK girls!

My story is that a dear friend of mine has been battling breast cancer and secondary bone and brain cancer for seven years now. I love her to bits and I don't want her to ever stop fighting but sometimes when I see her in horrific pain again I think I am being so selfish. But then I see the love that pours from her very being reflected in her husband of 40 years' eyes and I think "fight on, my darling. The world needs you."

It is an insidious diease. Feeling them up and mammograms are the only hope we have of finding a problem early. A great reminder! I rarely need an excuse to 'feel 'em up' anyway!

What a great reminder and a fun way to do it all. I've been lucky enough to avoid cancer so far, but have so many loved ones battling this insidious disease, I am happy to promote the cause!
